Two new 5-deoxyflavonoids from Calliandra inermis.
Two new 5-deoxyflavonoids, 7,2',3',4'-tetramethoxyflavone (1) and 7,2',3',4'-tetramethoxyflavanone (2) together with a known flavone 7,4'-dimethoxy-3'-hydroxyflavone (3) were isolated from the whole plant of Calliandra inermis. The structures of these new compounds were elucidated by high resolution electron impact mass spectrometry (HR-EI-MS) and 1D and 2D-NMR spectral studies including 1H-1H ...
متن کاملA new species of Bruchidius (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Bruchinae) from Albizia in Northern Thailand and a review of Bruchidius group 5.
A new species, Bruchidius paicus (Insecta, Coleoptera) reared from the seeds of a leguminous tree, Albizia lebbeck (Fabaceae: Mimosoideae: Ingeae), is described from Northern Thailand. Inspection of genital and external morphological traits of B. paicus revealed that the new species belongs to Bruchidius Group 5 (sensu ). The definition of Group 5 is reviewed based on both external and genital ...
متن کاملCytotoxic oleanane-type saponins from Albizia inundata.
Bioassay-guided fractionation of a CH(2)Cl(2)-MeOH extract of the aerial parts of Albizia inundata resulted in the isolation of two new natural oleanane-type triterpene saponins {3-O-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl(1→6)]-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-D-glucopyranosyl oleanolic acid (1) and 3-O-[α-L-arabinopyranosyl(1→2)-α-L-arabinopyranosyl(1→6)]-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-D-glucopyranosyl acacic acid lactone (2)} al...
متن کاملTwo new isoquinolone Alkaloids from Sauropus hirsutus
Sauropus androgynus (Euphorbiaceae) is a popular vegetable in Thailand. In 1995, the plant was associated with several cases of poisoning when used in a Taiwanese weight control method and the toxicity was attributed to its alkaloid content. We have therefore investigated a closely related Sauropus species, S. hirsutus. Extraction and isolation of chemical constituents from the aerial part of S...
متن کاملTwo New Prenylated Flavonoids From Paracalyx Scariosa
Two new prenylated flavonoids, named scariosin (1) and isorhynchospermin (2) were isolated from the leaves of paracalyx scariosa together with kaempferol, quercetin, kaempferol 3-O- rutinoside and rutin. The structures of (1) and (2) were characterized as 8-C- prenyl- taxifolin 7,3'-dimethylether and 6-C-prenylquercetin 7,4'-dimethylether by their chemical and spectra data, respectively.
